Black Tie Creatives developed Bump for the Bump, a digital advocacy campaign for Iowa ACOG to raise awareness of the state’s OB-GYN shortage and mobilize Iowans to call legislators in support of maternal healthcare funding.

Black Tie Creatives partnered with Iowa ACOG to develop Bump for the Bump—a digital-first advocacy campaign designed to address Iowa’s OB-GYN shortage and drive legislative action. The campaign centered on a clear, unifying message: support a “bump” in Medicaid reimbursements and maternal care funding to help retain OB-GYNs in the state. The campaign featured bold, typographic visuals paired with real stories and data, empowering Iowans to call their state legislators. We developed multiple creative directions, ultimately launching a high-impact social media push timed with the end of the 2025 legislative session. Additional print collateral was recommended for clinics, hospitals, and staff break rooms to expand reach beyond digital. The campaign helped elevate Iowa ACOG’s visibility and mobilize public support for practical, bipartisan healthcare improvements.
